2017 Quantum Technologies Showcase

Attention industry and government partners: On 22 November, Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council will host The National Quantum Technologies Showcase 2017. The event will demonstrate the technological progress arising from the £270m UK National Quantum Technologies Programme, its relevance to commercial sectors and the collaborative nature of the programme involving academia, industry and government partners.

Practical applications of quantum technologies

The event will demonstrate market applications in areas including: agriculture, civil engineering, defence and security, environmental monitoring, transport, automotive industry, oil and gas, medical imaging, navigation, communications and information processing.

The 2017 Showcase is being organised by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) in collaboration with the National Network of Quantum Technology Hubs and the other National Programme Partners; Innovate UK, BEIS, National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN).
