Systems

The Systems work package focuses on the use of additive manufacturing (3D printing) to create topologically-optimised sensor packages. We are developing processing routes for the advanced materials required for the development of quantum sensors.

Our research aims to understand the influence of advanced materials processing techniques (e.g. additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping) on the microstructure-property development in advanced materials.

We are also developing new materials and assessing their processability.
