Call for Proposals: End-User Driven Demonstration Activities scheme

The mission of the UK Quantum Technology Hub for Sensors and Metrology is to translate state-of-the-art lab technology into deployable practical devices. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, with academics and leading companies working together to translate research into marketable applications. To support this mission a partnership resource of £5.2 million was established to fund a range of activities.

Around half of the partnership fund is reserved to support End-User Driven Demonstration Activities, specifically those which target the translation of quantum science and technology to solution prototypes and demonstrators. This scheme will have an open scope and will fund activities across the value chain (ranging from sub-system components through to final products and services) using three funding instruments: feasibility studies, research and development projects and coordination and support actions.

The deadline for submitting applications is 9am on Tuesday 1st May 2018. Applications which accelerate the QT Hub Demonstrators are particularly encouraged.

If you would like further information on this scheme or guidance on making an application, please read this document. For any queries, contact Jo Smart (Project Manager) at j.smart@bham.ac.uk.
